We had a marvelous time at the swanky LOVESTRUCK bridal show this weekend! Met some lovely brides and saw some lovely pretty wedding things. Below are a few snippets of the adorable (and feathery!) little MARU PHOTOGRAPHY display and some of my favourite pretty things. Now I'm off to put up my feet, sip some a glass of something delicious and RELAX! Jesa and Chuck's SUNSHINE COAST wedding was a FEAST for the SENSES. Family and friends and the always fabulous Melissa of COASTAL WEDDINGS AND EVENTS, put together the loveliest beach wedding bathed in gossamer shades of lemon, lime, and burnt orange. Simply delightful. And later, as the sun dropped lazily into the lush greenery of the newly opened, SUNSHINE COAST BOTANICAL GARDENS, a fairy tale world revealed itself to the wedding guests. Paper bag lanterns led the way through a labyrinth of flower-lined pathways and delicate patio lanterns swayed softly in the evening breeze. We sipped champagne and nibbled on delicious little bits of lovely things until the wee hours...Here is a peek at some of the beauty that surrounded Jesa and Chuck on their special day:

Serving only home-baked European treats, gourmet breakfasts (have the crepes, they're divine!) and heavenly lunches, A Touch of Europe Cafe is a small, independently run coffee house in the style of the coffee houses of Europe. From the Roadtrip Files | Seattle for my birthday...
I recently spent the weekend in fabulous Seattle celebrating my birthday. It was a blast and every time I travel to Seattle, I am reminded of what a great city it is. So much fun stuff to do and see and the food, coffee and wine is excellent! Here are a few of my favs from my Seattle roadtrip adventure:
Pike Place Market vendors sell flowers in every shade imaginable. If you can't find your favourite flower here, you're not trying!
It's not Seattle without coffee! Check out Le Panier in Pike Place Market (there's always a line up but it's worth the wait---try the Croissant a la framboise, so delicious!):

April is Prevention of Cruelty to Animal month and I've recently discovered a WONDERFUL way for all of you, who like me, ADORE your pets, to incorporate a good deed for pets in need into your wedding! The folks at The Rescue Train, a non-profit organization for the benefit of animals who are suffering, have put together a bridal registry program to allow your wedding guests to donate to help animals in need. So if you already have enough toasters and blenders and coffee machines, here's a way to do something truly MEANINGFUL at your wedding event! In honour of April being Prevention of Cruelty to Animal month, the registery is currently being featured on the PROJECT WEDDING website. Bravo to you, The Rescue Train, for creating an opportunity for bridal couples to participate in such a worthy cause! And while we are on the subject of pets, this is a good opportunity for me to introduce you all to my adorable little kitty, Lulu-Mousie (odd name for a cat, I know---that's a whole other post!) with whom I am completely BESOTTED! : )
